Fourth Door Book’s latest artist book comprises three 24-page micro-book photography documents, each a contrasting example from the vegetal world.

Wheat Tide explores the sculptural overlay of the agricultural everyday where industrial harvesting turns sheaves of wheat – with bales strung, drawn and ready for collection – into a topography of incidental land art.

The Shine of Your Japan captures the brief moment cherry blossom bursts forth, over a few early summer weeks of blue sunshine and light dappling the lambent branches.

A Leaf Less Ordinary (Mya) Ginkgo Biloba, with its strange and beautiful fan-like leaves, is a vegetal connection to the world before the rise of flowering plants, and a living bridge to the tree world prior to the Fifth Mass Extinction event at the end of the Cretaceous.

The three A5 micro-books come in a special folder and can also be obtained as single items.
